Where is our knowledge stored?
On a dedicated instance (on Google Cloud or Azure), with its own database. It's not a shared server.
Does the extension read our conversations?
No. It writes the content you selected and records that it was used, for adoption metrics. It doesn't read or transmit the conversation.
How is it different from Excel or Notion?
A document stores text; Acervo governs an asset: version control, permissions with approval, variables and direct insertion into the AI tool.
